Based on their FUP, internet services are not unlimited. Instead, they are volume based. For instance, if you subscribe to 30mbps, your daily limit is 30GB per day. 50GB for 50mbps and 125GB for 125 mbps.

The speed is reduced to less than half of what you paid for after your daily limit has been hit.

From experience if you have a 30mbps subscription you will revieve less than 8mbps after you exhaust your daily 30GB allocation. For the 5ombps subscription your speed will be reduced to about 20mbps after your 50GB limit has been exhausted.

What about Safaricom. They definitely operate the same way as Fiba home interms of data bundles. One thing I dislike on Fiba home and even business, is the lack of control over their devices such as router passwords etc. They heavily restrict their networks as well. Not good for Internet researchers.

very true JTL have very secretive business practices. However, there is a way they can create your router into a bridge and allow you to introduce another router and have total control of your network

Safaricom home is different from faiba home but they also us FUP. Their approach is different since they allocate 1TB to users monthly for 100mbps. is you exhaust your quota, your speed will be reduced to 3 mbps. You will have to wait until the month is over for your speed to be restored to 100mbps
